Musicians will be rocking for a good cause this weekend with the fourth annual Jambodian Bash. The event will feature two concerts Saturday. The first will be a release concert for the new CD, "Jambodians," at 6:30 p.m. at the Capitol Arts Center. "The concert at the capitol is more family oriented," said Tony Lindsey, founder of the Son Rhea Foundation and a performer with Ty Barc, which will perform that night.

The second concert will be the holiday jam and will be at 8:30 p.m. at Ellis Place-State Street Pub.
"Tickets for the jam are almost sold out," Lindsey said. Tickets are $15 for each event or $25 to attend both. Proceeds for the Jambodian Bash will benefit the Son Rhea Foundation, which gives southcentral Kentucky children the opportunity to participate in music and art.

People will recognize artists that appear on the "Jambodians" CD, which was produced by four-time Grammy Award-winning producer Richard Adler, Lindsey said. The CD will be available for $15 at both events.
"It's a compilation of local talent," he said. "There will be folk, blues, rock, Celtic and bluegrass music."

Musicians who performed on the CD include Sam Bush, Greg Martin, Curtis Burch, Bill Lloyd, Jonell Mosser, Tommy Womack, Sheila Lawrence, Ty Barc, Slickrock, Ruth Burch, David Surface, Kentucky Thunder, Mighty Jeremiahs, Bev Smith Lovelace, Skip Cleavinger, Graham Hudspeth, Byron House, Hal Neel, Mitchell Plumlee, John Martin, Marc Owens, Kim Richey, Suzahn Fiering, Jimmy Hall, Bonnie Bramlett, Chris Carmichael, Mike Clark, Mike Hildreth, Kenny Lee, Kyle Fredrick, Jeff Brooks, Tony Lindsey, David Dorris, Richard Young, Fred Young, Kevin Lovelace, Etta Britt, Vickie Carrico, Dean Smith, Anthony Kenney, Kevin McKendree, Steve Polton, Jon McGee, Brad Davis, Chris Brown and Darrell Mansfield. Some of them will perform at the concerts. Skip Bond and the Fugitives will also perform.
